##Vote: War Between Brothers
I may have taken away your voting ability but that shouldn't be an excuse to not think. I'd like you to actually analyze the game. Lynches don't just come from solid facts.
Also, I pretty much agree with ToT on Exile and Crashing Down was a bit odd there.

##Vote: War Between BrothersI may have taken away your voting ability but that shouldn't be an excuse to not think. I'd like you to actually analyze the game. Lynches don't just come from solid facts. I am thinking about it, I've just taken a while to pull all my notes together. So, the following: ##Vote: Crashing DownLet's begin. Crashing Down (henceforth known as CD) didn't contribute ANYTHING at all in the first day, no vote, barely any game discussion, nothing. Call it slightly hypocritical if you want, but at least I attempted some sort of weird logic-y position. I know I wasn't particularly helpful. Let's look at this post from Day 1 (#35): Oh I almost forgot, CTN, my vote wasn't opportunistic, I could have gone with any of the other random votes made at the start of the day, but I just went with inspiration randomly to see how he/she would react to my random pressure vote. Her reaction was good. Also, by getting organised, I mean we should start voting together instead of randomly as wild individual votes will get us nowhere. I would strongly advise voting for the inactive members as we must ensure that no lurking is going on. However, if someone has a better, more logical, idea then feel free to share it. They're still random votes, but whatever. We need results, after all. She said we needed results. But did she even vote? No. This was her last response in day 1. She offers the following as a alibi for not much activity (#6, Day 2): Yeah, I haven't contributed much. People have lives, you know. That, and not much has happened besides a good scumflip on Day 1, meaning I haven't really had much to say. Yes, that's nice and all, and I can see why not much happened, and there wasn't much need for input, it's still a bit too suss. ToT called her out on her inactivity in day 2 (#7): Crashing Down: Dude, you can't just do nothing, vote nobody then tell others to post. Well, you can, but it looks rather ridiculous. Seriously, this pretty much nails it on the head. To get other people to vote and actually have discussion while not contributing much yourself, possibly to try to slip under the radar and not get yourself lynched seems like the most logical explanation for these actions. It gets better. Looking at: (#8 Day 2) I have no vote yet. I haven't really got a firm opinion on anyone. If I must vote before I can tell them to come, then I will ##Vote: ExileTrail puts up a good point. Why were you trying to defend Silver? I'm getting myself almost killed by not having an opinion on people. It's just not good enough if you want to survive and actually make meaningful contributions. I'm starting to form well informed opinions on people so that I can actually vote properly. Kingsword immediately calls out CD for being a sheep (#9), and CD responds with not actually that much to defend (#10, #12) Like Miles said, it's really confusing. CD doesn't actually put forward any defense that makes that much sense. In closing: CD has called multiple times for more action, but yet doesn't actually contribute much to the discussion at all. By not having a meaningful presence, she looks very suspicious. (I will add more later if more stuff comes up.) (I now have an avvy, to appease the masses.)

Also, newsflash: There IS a third faction (at least), which was brushed off in day 1. Team Skull does exist in this game. Have fun with that.

Day 2

Post by Exile on Jan 24, 2012 22:52:12 GMT -5
Time to play catch up again. POST I WROTE IN LIKE TEN MINUTES: Exile is looking pretty shifty following that Silver flip, for voting Mountain for not posting over Silver when both could have been attacked for the same reason, and later certifying the possibility of WBB (presumed counterwagon) as an alternate lynch to Silver. All his contributions seemed to support Silver's lifespan one way or another. ##Vote ExileI thought I explained this in that giant post Night 1, but I guess I wasn't clear enough? I voted Mountain for inactivity because it was still early day phase. (I went down the alias list in alphabetical order, and no that's not a good enough reason to make fun of me). Yeah, I'm admitting that if Mountain was called The Mountain, I would've voted Tarnished Silver instead. I kept my vote on Mountain after he showed up because that whole argument with Miles to Go was just odd. A whole bunch of I find you suspicious because your reaction to finding me suspicious is suspicious! and things like that that made me not so inclined to trust him. kaymafia.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=gotopost&board=general&thread=9&post=125I was perfectly fine leaving this as it was until I saw kaymafia.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=gotopost&board=general&thread=9&post=133And I realized that Kay's votals were off, and the votes are a lot closer than I thought they were. I change votes because unhelpful is worse than inactive but possibly town, and then Silver flipped scum and I facepalm hard. In more recent news, no deaths and the mods decided to give us an announcer. As funny as your first broadcast was, is there anything more relevant you can tell us besides how amazing our hosts are, or is this a required post restriction? War Between Brothers, how do you know Team Skull exists? I have no vote yet. I haven't really got a firm opinion on anyone. If I must vote before I can tell them to come, then I will ##Vote: ExileTrail puts up a good point. Why were you trying to defend Silver? See above. And if you really don't have a firm opinion on anyone, read back through the thread and make your own opinion. If that happens to be me it's fine, but don't use Trail of Tears's reasoning as an excuse for not thinking. Speaking of which I need to reread some of these posts more carefully, so posting again later.

Post by Crashing Down on Jan 24, 2012 23:28:46 GMT -5
I went back and did some reading. I find Mountain's case to be scummier than others, honestly.
But before I vote, I will pull a clipsey. Making up a summary to help me refinalize my thoughts.
Based on the 15 post per page view.
Notable abbreviations KS=Kingsword ToT=Trail of Tears FB=Fisherman's Boy WBB=War Between Brothers MtG=Miles to Go CtN=Call the Names MoaM=Measure of a Man Day 1
Page 1: Game starts. KS says hi. ToT votes Exile for being used as a plotpoint. FB votes Sedna for making him google the name. Sedna asks if the names mean anything before reading the bulletin. WBB makes a comment about it being a good idea before investigating own name. MtG shouts something very seemingly random. CtN responds equally random. MtG responds just as random. I want some non-self person to die. MoaM says hi. Inspiration says hi, and comments how he was listening to Heather Dale since he got access to the forum. ToT wants us to get avatars so she can tell us apart. Sedna votes Inspiration.
Page 2: WBB says its too mainstream to have an avatar. ToT retorts about how there were only 3/14 players with them. MtG votes ToT for some reason I cannot translate. MQ makes a horrible joke while voting Inspiration. Inspiration says that was a bad joke, and votes MoaM. Then votes again with it in bold and asks if preview works. Kay says it does. Inspiration agrees with ToT about avatars and figures out his preview problem. MoaM says that its not her fault her gender contradicts her name. CtN votes MQ because of disguising oppurtunism as a joke. Exile votes Mountain for not saying things. ToT says that its kind of hypocritical to do that in your first post, and doesn't see MQ's

People who don't vote today are scum not playing now that we have a flip to work with. Almost 24 hours in and I only see six of these. You all are scum. Do people just want the day to end in frantic, last-minute wagon hopping like yesterday? ps mods please count votes thanks Crashing Down is basically the definition of active lurking due to the amount of cheering useful things without doing anything useful. Waiting for the time to make a comprehensive post instead of sheeping to me for appeasement would have been preferable. Exile is scum according to pure VCA but I'm willing to consolidate on Crashing Down if there's no true interest. Both have been all defense, no offense so far today, which is both scummy and irritating. Would like to hear more from May Queen too, recall her being an early town read for piping up early but she hasn't actually ~done much~ since then. Call The Names, Mountain and Fisherwoman's Daughter have fallen off the map completely, apparently. Too much lurking going on around these parts. WBB obviously only knows Skull exists because he's a member of it :V

Post by Crashing Down on Jan 25, 2012 0:12:10 GMT -5
Shit, wrong key. Back to my summary. TS=Tarnished Silver Page 2, cont'd: ToT doesn't see MQ's vote as oppurtunistic. Exile says "Sue me, at least I posted." KS says the bad part of anonymity. Sedna jokes how KS must be eclipse. Page 3: A wild eclipse appears! CtN makes a comment about the oppurtunism. MQ starts being leader-y, and votes Mountain. Then explains the oppurtunism and a reaction test and what he means by getting organized. MoaM agrees with MQ. I make a comment about results and how they're still random votes. Then I ask about avatars. Mountain appears, and says she forgot about the game. KS wants to randomly screw people. MQ votes TS. MQ then says how 10 random votes on different people doesn't help, but how each one on the same person helps. KS leaves after voting TS. ToT votes MoaM for not acting on MQ's ideas. MtG votes Mountain because she had forgotten the game. But then unvotes ToT before voting Mountain. Page 4: CtN says the Mountain Wagon looks interesting, and knows who one person is. Mountain retorts to MtG, and comments about how she can't be honest without getting lynched. MtG makes an interesting post. Mountain also makes one. ToT switches to CtN for not voting on an "interesting wagon" asks questions of Mountain, and makes comments about MoaM. Mountain answers how he's not particularly disturbed by MtG's vote. Inspiration returns, talks about old posts, and then votes Exile. Sedna likes a Mountain Lynch and defends TS because he was a latecomer. Sedna then votes MQ for having been very random on the votes. CtN says "Interesting =/= Like" and how scum jokevotes tend to lead to pressure. Then admits the assumption isn't sound, but will come back and maybe vote again. ToT retorts well. KS returns and comments about MtG's pressure on Mountain and how TS is still missing. CtN unvotes MQ, talks about his vote, then says something about knowing who ToT is. Page 5: CtN makes a comment about MQ and how they need to get unified. OMG I TURN THE PAGE AND KAY HAS AN AVVIE. ToT explains how she wants to vote for those who are making themselves useless instead of being helpful. CtN makes another retort. Then the slight hilarity of the probably wrong. WBB returns, then leaves without doing anything. ToT points that there's 5 hours left for that. More probably wrong talk. MtG and Mountain again. Sedna admits to having been mafia before and doing the pressuring inactives. Phase ends when there is a sleeping Inspiration, who also unvotes Exile. Sedna says stuff. MtG likes flashy language, but is leaving. Page 6: ToT makes a long post. TS asks for a summary *facepalm*. WBB makes a vote on ToT for being very vocal, something others were not. Inspiration votes TS. ToT retorts WBB's vote. Kay still has an awesome avvie. Clipsey tells us to talk. ToT doesn't like a TS lynch. TS votes MtG. ToT explains stuff MtG explained to others. Sedna votes WBB as well as asking about the TS vote. Exile points out the overzealousness in MtG's style. Sedna leaves. FB votes MQ for showing a scumslip on gender. Page 7: ToT asks FB what he thinks about the main targets at the time (WBB, Mountain, and TS). FB goes to read. ToT explains why that is less of a scumslip and more of an poor english or ditzy slip. Exile miscounts votes. FB gets a null read in a decent post. ToT unvotes. FB makes a retort about genders. Again. ToT explains. FB points out some more. ToT questions FB. Kay ends teh phase. FB will use female pronouns for the rest of the game. Mafia Jack dies. FB posts again. Page 8: clipsey emphacizes the bottom of the post. Exile votes in the night lol. ToT asks questions to Exile. KS is pleased. MtG is also pleased. Sedna was wrong. FB makes havoc on the lockedness. Kay realizes this. KS makes the last post. Night 1 in next post.

Portion 3: My apologies for the lurking, but I only post if I find something worth posting. And I'm currently doing another reread by summarizing this all. It seemed to help clipsey. So I will also. Give me 8 hours to sleep before I continue so I can sleep before continuing. But based on Day 1 alone, I find that FB is actually the scummiest in my eyes. That theory was full of very poor logic. WBB is also pretty scummy for being so... useless is the only word here. KS is also pretty scummy because of his lack of activity, and voting me for merely sheeping. Portion 4: All of this. Portion 5: Jokevote: WBB

WBB obviously only knows Skull exists because he's a member of it :V You can talk. Don't think I'm that uninformed. Besides, why would I mention a faction that no one knew about (aside from the members of said faction), considering it would be advantageous to stay secret? Really, ToT. Notice how I mentioned that it was "at least", so I don't know if there are more or not.

I'll vote again in the afternoon. For now, I see multiple /decent/ targets but not a solid one just yet.
In other news, I'd like the mayor to claim if there is one.
