You townies sure are making it difficult to maintain interest in this game, and i-it's not like I care enough to try to do peoples' scumhunting for them or anything. I do at least have some spare time right now, though, so ~here we go~. My response to Call The Names waiting until his outdated vote got attacked to reconsider can basically be summed up with :frustration:. I find him troubling, but there are a bunch of other people I'd like to look at right now, since the deadline is approaching. Namely... RE: Measure of a Man #34 Crashing Down #35 War Between Brothers #66 All three of you guys are currently being wonderfully useless, please come actually play mafia. War Between Brothers especially, showing up 5 hours before deadline with no content just to say "I'll get to it later" is just downright uncool and it will be very problematic if "later" means "some time after deadline hits". ##Unvote: Call The Names##Vote: War Between BrothersThere is absolutely no reason to put off taking any stances right now unless you're just trying to avoid having to take responsibility for the day's lynch. I hear those lurkers are a hot topic right now. Fisherman's Son is looking a lot worse than Tarnished Silver, because Fisherman's Son has made one post and definitely knows the game is going. I really don't see why the wagon is on Tarnished Silver with this in mind. If I have to switch to avoid a NL, I'll probably go for Mountain instead because the reaction to Miles Tails Prower was pretty shifty - it looks like he wanted to cast doubt on Tails, but didn't have the courage to make a vote that people might consider OMGUS. It helps that Tails is getting NKed tonight for being the only person making sense. I'm out. Will be back before deadline hits.

There is absolutely no reason to put off taking any stances right now unless you're just trying to avoid having to take responsibility for the day's lynch. I guess it's time to defend myself. So really, my stance is that I don't feel I need to lynch anyone because I have absolutely no reason to. Well, at least that was the case. I'm going to throw a vote to: ##Vote: Trail Of TearsYou're being particularly vocal in trying to influence people's votes. I suspect hidden motives.

Alright, um, as for lynching, I would be okay with a Tarnished Silver (this means, read through the thread, and say something useful)! CTN's logic is a little strange, but not necessarily scummy. WBB, as ToT mentioned, is a bit strange too. I may be comfortable with lynching Mountain, but, um:
##Vote: Tarnished Silver
Welcome, Tarnished Silver. Uh, 6 pages ain't too much - and well, if you have had all this time to post, then do it, please. I'd elaborate more, but I'm tired.
Why am I up this late. Ugh. G'night.

I guess it's time to defend myself. So really, my stance is that I don't feel I need to lynch anyone because I have absolutely no reason to. Is this a third party softclaim, or just a scum confession? Because town sure as hell has reason to lynch people. Well, at least that was the case. I'm going to throw a vote to: ##Vote: Trail Of TearsYou're being particularly vocal in trying to influence people's votes. I suspect hidden motives. Pretty sick OMGUS, but no, I'm just getting involved with the game because I'm not a survivor like you seem to think you are. I'm not going out of my way to control people's votes as long as they're actually voting somebody, which they should be, because otherwise they're not trying to help town lynch scum.

This is a disappointing amount of posts from the majority of you, on D1. Talk, dammit. You're doing Kay a disservice by staying silent.

Post by Trail of Tears on Jan 22, 2012 1:12:15 GMT -5
I can't say I like a Tarnished Silver lynch at this point since Fisherman's Boy is worse and it just seems like policy right now. He should probably re-read the thread on his own and talk. I'm willing to switch to Mountain and tiebreak if Silver makes a vote for Not Me Over Me purposes.

Post by Tarnished Silver on Jan 22, 2012 1:26:37 GMT -5
Okay, so far I can see, there's been a lot of random voting and stuff, typical Day 1 events. In any case, I find it strange how Miles To Go voted for Mountain simply for replying three hours after another vote was placed. Mountain posted a few times more after that, but Miles kept his vote
##Vote: Miles to Go
Is there a reason why you're keeping your vote for Mountain? Or is it only because he posted later than most other people?
Also, the reason why I'm having so much trouble reading through the thread is because the internet is REALLY slow and unstable over here, sorry.

We have to do SOMETHING this day phase and your voting for one of the few people actually making effort. ##Unvote##Vote:War Between Brothers
Already mentioned this, but this is such a lazy, careless vote. Do you think TS is mafia or are you just too lazy to actually think and try and find a different target? He missed most of this first day, how does that make him more likely to be mafia? It's a null point. Asking for a summary is lazy on his part, but really not a reason to vote for him.

##Unvote: Measure of a Man##Vote: ExileExile: Your avatar link is broken. Fix it. It annoys me. Fixed. ##Vote: MountainYou forgot about the game until someone voted for you? Fascinating! Tell me, how long have you had spider senses? I voted for Mountain a good 23 hours before May Queen did, so I don't believe it was convenient timing. Miles already said he wouldn't be around for deadline. He did explain multiple times that he thought Mountain's reaction to the initial vote was scummy. She. Miles to Go is a bit overzealous in her posting style, but I think it stems from good intentions. Mountain's responses could be a Newton's Third Law reaction, but there isn't much to go on. My vote stays for now. There are others already noted above who have contributed less, but the likelihood of lynching them so close to deadline seems low.

Post by Fisherman's Boy on Jan 22, 2012 2:26:00 GMT -5
Really sorry I haven't been posting. I couldn't find a damn thing to say. Rereading thread, as advised... I like how May Queen allegedly goes reaction fishing on Inspiration, is more or less ignored, says the reaction was good (nice bussing), and then goes to park votes on inactive players while doing nothing else. Hardly more overall contribution than me is no towntell. Inspiration's contributions amount to roughly this much too. Now let's take a closer look at this post. Oh I almost forgot, CTN, my vote wasn't opportunistic, I could have gone with any of the other random votes made at the start of the day, but I just went with inspiration randomly to see how he/she would react to my random pressure vote. Her reaction was good. MQ goes from not knowing Inspiration's gender to being, apparently, quite certain. We call this a scumslip. Unvote: SednaVote: May Queen
